![]() It's wonderful to have the opportunity to explore the customs, food, religion, and economies of foreign countries. Indonesia appeared to be having a more difficult time keeping ahead of setbacks in the rupiah (their currency). It was obvious in certain circumstances they were in need but for the most part the people appear resilient and will persevere. It's at times like these we are reminded of how fortunate we are to be U.S. citizens. | Our Tea Party for Dolls was a huge success! If you weren't able to attend, I hope you saw the half-page story and photos provided by our Lake County News-Chronicle. The dolls were magnificent and the stories behind them were fascinating. Considering that some dolls were nearly 100 years old, they were in surprisingly good condition. As always, feel free to call me with your suggestions for future programs or trips, 834-2136 or 1-800-992-2136. |
